Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. Tap Get started and design as a guest. Your kits are saved on your phone. Sign in for free when you want your kits on another phone or want to bring your team in.
Which phones does KitStudio work on?
iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, and Android phones with Android 7.0 or later. Both come out at the same time.
Is KitStudio in my language?
English for now. Spanish, Portuguese, French, Indonesian and Turkish are next.
Designing kits
How do I change the colors and pattern?
Open a kit and pick Jersey or Shorts at the bottom. Choose Solid, Pattern or Gradient, then tap a color. The + swatch lets you mix any color you like.
How do I add names and numbers?
Use the Name & No. tool. Type a name and number, then pick a font and a color. With a team, every player's own name and number goes on their kit.
How do I add my crest or a sponsor?
Use the Logo tool, pick a picture from your photos and choose where it goes: left chest, center, right chest, back or shorts. Your team crest is free. Sponsor logos come with Pro or a Team Pack. A picture with a clear or plain background looks best.
How do I save and share a kit?
Tap Save at the top to keep the kit in My kits. Share makes a picture of the front and back that you can send anywhere or save to your photos. Free pictures carry a small KitStudio mark.
Why does the printed kit look different from my screen?
Screens show color differently from fabric, and every kit maker prints a little differently. Before ordering for the whole team, ask your kit maker for a color chart or a sample.
Teams
How do I bring my team in?
Create a team from a kit and share the team code. Teammates install KitStudio for free, enter the code and add their name, number and size. Creating a team needs a free account.
How does the vote work?
Pick the kits you want the team to choose from. Everyone in the team gets one vote, and the result shows in the team as votes come in.
How do I get the kits made?
With a Team Pack or Pro, KitStudio makes an order sheet with the front and back of the kit and every player's name, number and size, and a production pack: each panel's artwork, a back panel with each player's name and number, the player list and a spec sheet with colors, fonts and sizes in centimeters. Send them to any kit maker. They fit the artwork to their own size patterns. KitStudio doesn't make or sell kits itself.
Purchases and subscriptions
What's free and what's paid?
Designing, sharing pictures and team votes are free. A Team Pack adds the order sheet and more for one kit. Pro opens every look on every kit. See pricing.
How do I get my purchases on a new phone?
Sign in with the same account and the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with, then open Profile and tap Restore purchases.
How do I cancel Pro?
Apple and Google manage subscriptions, so you cancel in their settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → KitStudio → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → KitStudio → Cancel.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
How does the free trial work?
You can try Pro free for 14 days. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the yearly plan starts and you're charged. The trial opens everything except the order sheet and the production pack, which come with a Team Pack or a paid Pro plan.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. On iPhone, ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, open the purchase in Google Play and choose Request a refund. We can't refund store purchases ourselves, but we're happy to help: write to us.
Account and data
Delete your account
In the app: open Profile, tap Delete account and confirm.
Without the app: email support@kitstudio.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your profile, your saved kits, the logos and fonts you uploaded and your place in every team. Teams you created are deleted with their rosters. It can't be undone. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Pro subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.
Get a copy of your data
Email us from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy of what we hold about you. Read more in our privacy policy.
Kits made as a guest
Without an account, your kits are saved only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them. Sign in before you change phones to keep them.
Logos and trademarks
Can I use my club's crest?
Yes, if your team has the right to use it. Don't upload logos of clubs, leagues or brands that haven't given you permission.
Are the ready-made kits official?
No. They're inspired by the colors of countries and well-known kits. No club, federation, league or brand made, endorses or is connected to them.
Report a logo or design
If you own a trademark or copyright and think a design in KitStudio uses it without permission, email support@kitstudio.app with:
- your name and the company or club you act for,
- the trademark or work and how you own it,
- where it appears (a share link or a screenshot),
- how we can reach you.
We review every report and remove content that breaks our terms of use.
